A CHARMING AND RUSTIC FARMing EXPERIENCE wITH SCENIC NATURE WELCOMES YOU
Nordenburg Farm is proud of its history and heritage. The Farm carries a long history of farming culture and cultivation, in the heart of the Namib Desert. Today it operates as a sheep farm and leisure centre run by the well known German-Namibian Moisel Family, based in Swakopmund.
The Nordenburg Farm historically encompassed a larger territory, being sold off piece by piece through its different decades.
The 4000 hectares, which is the Nordenburg land today, has been in the Moisel Family since 1972, when it was acquired by the Danish industrialist Hans Christensen. It was passed on to his stepdaughter Gisela Moisel.
With a vision of developing Nordenburg into a unique leisure experience, available to local and international visitors, the Farm has been open to the public since 2022.
